 Automotive Apprentice Technician 

Dupuis Ford Lincoln is currently looking for an automotive apprentice technician to complete its team. 

 

Job Description 

We are looking for an apprentice technician for a permanent year-round position with a full-time schedule. The salary will be established according to the competency.  The successful candidate will have to diagnose mechanical problems, inspect and carry out general mechanical work for the Ford brand or others. 

Main Duties: 

  • Perform complete and accurate vehicle inspections, repairs, and estimates, according to the manufacturer's strictest standards
  • Analyze repair orders and vehicle inspection reports
  • Determine vehicle defects based on customer complaints and own rigorous inspection
  • Document on the repair order all work performed and recommended
  • Conduct road tests to verify the quality of repairs
  • Communicate with Service Advisors and clearly explain repairs and any additional maintenance required. 

Profile: 

  • Be organized and results-oriented 
  • Be comfortable with technology 
  • Be able to work in a team 
  • Have good physical capacity 
  • Ability to adapt and withstand pressure. 

Requirements: 

  • Hold a valid driver's license. 
  • No experience necessary
